IMUS goodbye

I was never a big fan of imus, I did listen for abit back in my college days, just never got into him. I don't condoe what he said it was not right, but I think the real problem is society in general, we get our panties in a bunch when somethign like this goes down, however we let our kids listen to the foul mouthed rap songs that talk abouyt gang banging, drugs, ho's and pimps and what ever else is in the life style. Action jackson and sweat suit sharpton should look after their own before they go blaming the white man for all their problems. ok now getting of my soap box.

have a great day or not the choice is yours!!!

RIP

Well gram made it to 99, On March 26 2007 gram passed away. Born in Poland in 1907 she came to america as a three year old girl. She married and raised 4 children 13 grand children and a few great grand kids.
I had a chance to speak at her funeral I talked about all of the the things the gram taught me.

I learned that ginger ale and blackberry brandy are good for what ales you. An old rooster makes the best chicken soup. I learned that there is always a way to make an HONEST buck. I learned (my fav) how to brew coffee with out a filter (cowboy coffee) but most of all I learned that the best gifts in the world are the ones made by the hands of someone who loves you.

this f-ing weather sucks big smelly donkey balls. The world is a f-uped place, the world meetings on the warming climates was canceled due to ice???????? we get basically no snow all freaking winter , we get two days ina row of 70 degree weather and then we get dumped on with ice and snow to the tune of 4 inches! this really sucks i can't stand the f-ing winter. ok with that out of my system lets move on.

Basketball pools are hanging in there I still have all my sweet 16 teams alive. thats a good thing.

March Madness

well it's here, for me one of the best times of the year, spring training has started, the NCAA tournament will be kicking off soon. The weather will start to change for the better. All the girls will soon stop wearing bulky sweaters and uggs, which will be replaced with short skirts tight tops. God I love the warm weatherrand chics.

speaking of chics I am playing Texas down in AC last week at the table I was at had two hott chics one was about 26 the other about 40. I started thinking what would the difference be in the sack with them. Who would be the risk taker, would one of them be more aggressive or more dominate? any way somewhere between my head between the younger ones legs and the older one between mine, I got busted on with a set of trays. Lesson number 1 never fantasize while playing poker.

i need a shot of crown and to get laid, till then stay out of trouble

rip barbaro

I guess we all knew it was only a matter of time that the great Barbaro's life
would come to a dramatic end. Horse racing is a wonderful game, when we watch the derby, the preakness
and the belmont we see the glory side of the game. The pretty people the best jocks and the tracks all dolled up looking their bet.
There is an underside to the game, some night turn on TVG if you have it. Watch a race from Sam Houston, turfway park
or any other track in america, you will see the 3500.00 claimers that are not the best horses with not the best jocks
all being raced, yes these horses are cared for but when they are injured on the track most never make it off alive, they are
put down, out of their pain and misery. It's so sad when it happens not to just the famous horses but to any horse at any track.
I love the game I love the thrill of the gamble I enjoy watching good horses and bad horses good jocks and good drivers
I appreciate any horse, they do not know whether or not they are good they just know how to run and they run as hard as they can and hopefully with no misstep.

Mens Expo

Mens expo the wrat 95.9

random thoughts for january

Pitchers and catchers report in less then a month!! imagine that!

Played in a local radio station texas hold 'em tournament yesterday
there were 120 players and it was sort of a speed tournament 8 minute blinds
it was fast and furious. I finished 36th I was very happy the way I played.
I won every had that I that I was in post flop, except two hands and one
of those was a major loss. I did not go on tilt and made my way back to be second in
chips. I ended up going out on with hole cards of AJ unsuited I got called on my all in
with a suited AQ and got knocked out.

Speaking of this poker tournament it was part of a men's expo. there were boats, trucks, tractors, tiki bars, slot car races
free massages, two penthouse playmates and a very talented and good looking pool player named jennifer baretta who took on all comers. There were push up contest, foul shooting contest and my personal favorite a rock paper scissors contest.
All in all it was a good day to be a man.

One week from the super bowl. I have yet to analyze the game yet but i am leaning towards the colts
I was a colts fan as a kid, my dad was a colts fan and so was my mom. Then as i got older i realized i could see eagle
games every week and the colts only when they played the jets. The final nut buster was when the dolts moved to indy
I hated them for that.

saw a great t-shirt yesterday it was a silloutte of a girl swinging on a pole the caption said
"the piper gone but not forgotten" The sand piper was a sleazy summer shore bar that from sept 1 until july 1 it was a sleazy seaside go-go bar. It always amazed me that in the dead winter on a tueday night in january the piper would be packed with guys, girls and dollar bills. while the pizza shop across the street sat empty. It is amazing what go-go girls can do for the economy!!
